Joachim Maaß, a graduate engineer in electrical engineering specialising in data technology, BEng (Hons), Executive MBA, certified Data Protection Officer (IHK), IT Security Manager (udis), Information Security Officer (BVS), certified AI Data Protection Expert (GDDcert) and founder of DATA PRO SECURITY, based in the Starnberg/Munich area, began his career as a consulting engineer in telematics. He subsequently held positions in software development, product management and as a Business Unit Manager at Siemens AG.
He managed a pan-European network of student portals, including uni.de. Mr Maaß has been responsible for data protection within his companies for more than 20 years.
